What is the minimum rental duration?+
The minimum rental duration is typically 3â6 months, depending on the plan and device category. After the minimum term, you can continue, upgrade, or convert to ownership.
Is there a refundable security deposit?+
Yes. A refundable deposit is collected at the start of your rental. It is returned when you end the plan and return the device in good condition, subject to standard checks.
Can I convert my rental device to ownership?+
Yes. After completing the minimum term, you can convert to ownership at about 50% of the device MRP (plan dependent). Speak with our team for the exact figure for your model and plan.
What is included in the rental plan?+
Professional fitting, tuning, and periodic follow-ups, along with standard support. Plans can also include app setup, basic maintenance guidance, and access to upgrades depending on availability.
What is Care Plus and what does it cover?+
Care Plus is an optional add-on that provides extra benefits like accidental damage protection, priority support, free monthly audiologist consultations, and simplified upgrades. Theft or loss is not covered.
Do you offer home visit fitting and support?+
Yes. Home visit services by certified audiologists are available in 50+ cities across India, subject to slot availability. You can also visit any participating Hearinguru clinic.
Which hearing aid models are available for rent?+
We offer a curated selection from leading brands across entry, mid, and premium tiersâincluding options suited for different hearing loss levels and lifestyles. Availability varies by city and stock.
Can I upgrade or switch my rental device later?+
Yes. You can upgrade or switch to another model after the minimum term or earlier if your plan allows. Any price difference in deposit or monthly fee will apply.
What happens if the device is damaged or lost?+
Accidental damage may be covered under Care Plus; standard wear is expected. Intentional damage, theft, or loss is not covered and may result in charges as per policy.
Is routine maintenance included?+
Basic cleaning and periodic checkups are supported. Weâll guide you on daily care, filter changes, and earmold hygiene. Complex repairs may incur a fee unless covered by Care Plus.

Are batteries or chargers included?+
Rechargeable models include a charger; disposable-battery models may require periodic battery purchases. Your counselor will explain inclusions for the model you select.
Do I need a recent hearing test before renting?+
A recent audiogram ensures the best fit. If you donât have one, we can arrange a test at home or in our clinic before your rental fitting.
